Rurality Newsletter - All Rustic News December 15, 2024 |
If your weather has hit hard, there are a few things you can do to retain your sanity. First off, put on a pot of soup. Then put on your socks and a sweater to cheer you up. Then get crafting. December 15 2024This is the time of year when the outdoors beckons, if you dress warmly enough. Why not make some twig and branch reindeer to put out in the garden? They are adorable and a lot of fun to make. Such a simple thing, yet so effective. Other things to do include a walk in the woods, where you can do some wildcrafting . Collect some greenery to make garlands and swags, and don't forget the pine cones. There are a lot of pine cone crafts to use them in, most of them just requiring a bit of glue or wire and some additional oddments, which most likely, if you're like me, you have in your stash of arts and craft supplies .And finally, in this last email until the new year, please do party responsibly, and above all, have fun! Merry Christmas and Happy Solstice to you and yours from Blue Fox Farm.
