Rurality Newsletter - All Rustic News July 01, 2024 |
Happy holidays, if you're in Canada (July 1st is Canada Day) or in the USA (July 4 is the celebration of independence). Summer is now officially here as of June 21 which is the solstice, and the longest day. July 1 2024You may be anticipating some holidays, maybe to a beach or other place in nature. Keep your eyes peeled for rustic crafts to copy, like weathered signs, or barnboard. Pay attention to the way it looks, so you can make your own using paint instead. I painted rustic painted doors with these kinds of inspiration. Either leaves and flowers, or something that looks like old wood can bring an amazingly lifelike effect.Painted garden signs, like the ones in the gallery for example, can add a fun appeal for your guests. Whatever kinds of crafts you get up to please share them on the rustic crafts page - scroll to the bottom to see where to share your story and add some pictures. Join the Rustic And Succulents Group to share your ideas and inspiration, we'd love to have you! When you've built something you're proud of, brag it up! Most groups love to hear what others have been doing, so share your pictures on there with a write up on the project.
