It's mid July, and summer is in full swing. Gardening might consist of hiding out in a shady spot with a cold drink, and planning for the next project, once the weather settles down.

A trip to the beach or to the mountains might be in your plans, so keep an eye out for anything you might be able to use for a rain chain, or a piece of garden art on your porch where you can see it close up, or in the garden.

I put the seaglass mermaid in the garden with the 5000 kilometer Sempervivum, along with a lot of sea shells that I found at the thrift store. I can only imagine that they were someone's prized collection, but they were donated to the auxiliary thrift store. I got them for pennies, and gladly added them to my own hoard.
