Rurality Newsletter - All Rustic News October 15, 2024 |
Fall is upon us now, with color in the leaves, pumpkins on every doorstep. I don't decorate as such, although my flowers are still going strong - zinnias and impatiens in particular. Who would have guessed that tender annuals would put on such a show up until a hard freeze? I don't have the heart to pull them out, so they will stay in place until the spring. October 15 2024What's your favorite colour? Blue? That's mine! I paint signs and old furniture with paint that shows its age, even though it might be brand new. Like the farmhouse table that we built, using legs that were shipped from Turkey, of all places. You can see more about the rustic farmhouse table here. You can make it any size you like, to fit any space. I can see this used as a craft table, or in a hall to decorate for the seasons.Make sure to scroll down to see the Rustic French Country Table that is painted my favorite color, and the details of what we did to get it that way.
