Hi, My name is Wendy and I live in Minnesota -50 miles west of the twin cities.

I raise alpacas and use the fiber for felting. And I mean you can felt just about anything!! And I mean anything.

I just LOVE scrounging the woods for the bird houses that I felt. I've been told multiple times that they've never seen anything like them before. If they only knew how much I enjoy making they!!

Love it..and my favorite part of it (well it's all favorites to me but...is scrounging the wood for "stuff".

Most people I know don't really get it - until they see the things I make. Then they kinda understand.

I moved from a farm further north last September and my kids helped me move my rocks...again!

Anyone a rock freak?

Well then you understand. I had a rock pile on the property and I found so so many beautiful ones - once I scrubbed them that is. Until that is done I guess it is just a rock, but you never know what you're going to see as it is cleaned up.

The guy I had bought that farm from said "cripes..I spent years hauling those out to the pile..from the land and now you're hauling them all back???" LOL....farmers do not like rocks..all the better for us right?

I also moved loads of beautiful branches and logs etc that I hadn't used yet. Yes Yes Yes I would love to connect with others of the same mind..ha! That is, getting excited with every treasure I find..and always it's right there, accessible to anyone who has "the eye".

My other passion is gardening and I love to find unique plants, weeds,grasses etc. I did the craft fairs for awhile but having to work full time kind of gets in the way of that. I'm very excited to see how this all works!
